Ben is an active musician in the Twin Cities area with over 15 years of experience on the guitar. He started out performing in the school jazz ensemble and continued playing jazz all through college. Over the years he’s taken numerous of lessons, played in groups, and produced some of his own projects.

 

He graduated from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and earned a B.A. in Marketing with a Minor in Music. At Saint Mary’s, Ben was very busy performing on campus, learning about the music industry, and how to apply music theory in practice. Ben also enlisted and served in the Army Reserve from 2013 to 2019.

 

After college, Ben taught guitar formally at the Sotto Voce Institute in Mendota Heights in 2021 and has also taught some informal lessons here and there. He’s excited to provide fun beginner lessons focused on the student’s goals.
